Hey Mr SV,

the somewhat SGupdater is back here again. Been wanting to update, but projects, school, work, exams are totally a-killer.

And.

YOUR PHOTOS ARE ALL AWESOME!!!

Especially the sceneries. They are really really beautiful. And hey, not many people can get to experience them in life you know! haha. Like me, for instance.

And your group of friends together seem really FUN! bet u must be enjoyin yr times with them. :)

Oh wells. I should start saving a small amount everyday, and perhaps in 2 years i shld be able to use it for a gd holiday. Hahaha.

Alright, i should cut the crap. But really, the place seems really nice and relaxing, and definitely not anywhere near the conjested area like SG, yeah of course, since we're talkin bout the states, but still, the place seems so-cool.

And its great in a way, though we won't know if we have a chance to visit there, but with yr amount of nicely taken pictures, they absolutely give us a good introduction to the states, in particularly to your area. Totally coolness. Again.

So how's reading your book so far? Hahaha, seh, studios & hardworking jonny. Teehee.

Okay, back to the parttime job i like - updater.

I don't exactly know what did the guys do, but roughly i guess they had two overnight gambling sessions, and maol did win some dough. :D

And maol had an upset tummy on the chu4, guess must be too much curry, some at home, some at Phil's house as its Phil's dad's bday on Chu3 right?

But here was what we did on the night before CHU YI.

I went for reunion dinner before mtg Maol. Here's my beloved Grandma.

And maol went Far East to pick Jinhui and Phil up as we planned to catch a movie at great world city. We watched CJ7 by Stephen Chow. And kok peng will be mtg us directly at there. You heard of this movie in the states???

Its quite nice actually, and you see that little kid below, acting as a Male primary school student, but it turned out that he's a Female! But really couldn't see tt out at all during the movie.

And well, PHIL got crazy over the female lead in the show! hahaha.
But she's really really beautiful. you have a chance, do watch the show. its quite nice actually. :)

So here are the guys..... Phil is like a hei se hui lao da in this pic huh. walkin in front tucking the hands in the pants. A.O!

And maol, before picking phil and jinhui up. He told me Phil and him were dressed in the exactly same way , as Phil bought a new pants or something, new BEMBS, but all black. And joked that i don't hug the wrong guy! hahaha.

And so here's their dressing for the night.

On the way up to the movie theater , our show was ard 10 to 11 pm i think.

And Jinhui & Phil was a parttime photographer that day. So that explains why i appeared below. haha.

And its like a Fashionista! Kok peng was sorta dressed up. :D

And i think Jinhui likes Red. Does he? Always see him in red whenever i see him. Singtel, must be. But really, he looks good in RED. ;)

So we went for Supper, actually wanted to go eat YAO CAI Prawn mee opp great world city, but the whole building was sortof on the way of demolishing. Maol drove passed there, and we were thinking how come we can't see the building at all. Then after passing by for the 2nd time, then we realised the WHOLE building was sorta gone.

Since it was CNY eve, not many chinese food stalls, so we went to adams corner for Prata.

Hahaha. Look at Jinhui.

On the Feb 15, we pack our bags, rent a SUV and made our way to Death Valley. The journey there took about 8 1/2 hours. We set off around 9pm after work on Friday and reached the valley at 5am. We manage to catch the sunrise and took photos of it. We spend 2 days exploring the valley and the scenario is awesome. Although we went during winter, we can feel the heat in the afternoon. I cant imagine the temperature in summer. Brief background of Death Valley:

Death Valley is a valley in the U.S states of California and Nevada, and is the location of the lowest elevation n North America at 282 ft (86m) below sea level. It is one of many places on land which fall below sea level. Temperatures in the Valley can range from up to 54 degree celusius in the day in the summer, to below freezing at night in the winter.

The first roadtrip was to the snowy Tahoe and my second roadtrip is to this desert Death Valley. Haa. how extreme can it be. Remember in Tahoe we had to takeout the tyres to fix the snowchains, this time in Death Valley, we nearly had to change tyres because one of the tyres nearly burst due to the rough terrain when we want to find the HOLE IN THE WALL. WTF. That HOLE IN THE WALL is just two mountains together that look like a hole. Waste our time. Because of that, our tyre nearly burst. At night, we went to a bar which has great ambience. Those old texas lookalike bar with oldies rock music just like those in the cowboy movies. We had pizza and beers.

There are too many happening stuffs and photos to post here so i just a highlight of the trip. The photos below are not in order. Those that have snow were taken when we stopped at Mount Whitney in Lone Pine. Mount Whitney is the highest point in the contiguous United States at elevation 14,505 feet (4,421 meters).It is located at the boundary between California's Inyo and Tulare counties. We just explore the bottom of the mountain and took some photos. Well .. we will climb up the moutain in Spring when the snow is cleared.
